Sharon has created Revelations of Love with the help and guidance of the one she calls the Black Madonna who appeared in a dream one day to invite Sharon to move from her comfortable life in Seattle, USA and travel to Spain with no idea of why or where she was going. Quite an ask, but as you will find as you travel with her, the journey was one of the soul. She found each step was guided and supported by the divine, and by her own personal guide, the Black Madonna. One thing which surprised her was that prior to this she was not particularly attached to any particular religion, and certainly not to Roman Catholicism where an image of the Madonna with Child would be very at home. Yet when she was introduced to a wooden statue of the Madonna she immediately knew this was the source of the voice she had heard inviting her to move to Spain, shedding her previous life as she did. One of the most moving and intimate things about this diary is that Sharon shares her conversations with the Madonna. She comes to Sharon in many of her divine feminine aspects, Mother Mary, Sophia, Magdalyn, Isis, Quan Yin, Gaia, White Buffalo Calf Woman and the Crone of Surrender. When she meets Kali who added her sacred fire (and applied it to Sharon’s laptop) the final stages of surrender where initiated. Sharon introduces us to her Rites of Passage:- As the Initiate we step beyond our minds and into our hearts to reveal our unconscious limiting emotions, thoughts and beliefs. As the Apprentice we transcend our deep-rooted limitations by trusting our own innate Love to make new conscious choices As the Adept we become the pure expression of Love, Joy, and Wisdom that naturally unfolds in conscious alignment with our Divinity. Soon it becomes clear these wonderful words are not just for Sharon, they are for all of us, and I found them connecting with me very deeply. They also seemed to be perfectly timed, for just after I had put the book down it was the Summer Solstice (2019) and I took part in a most wonderful ceremony which involved standing in my own divine ‘balance’ fully embodying the divine feminine and masculine. At the end of the book Sharon described how the timing of the book was also divinely guided by The Black Madonna, and to my surprise all these very real and relevant experiences took place some 20 years ago. For me they were very NOW, and I’m so grateful to Sharon for her courage and open-hearted sharing, such a wonderful gift.
