This is an opening time

"This is an opening time," the Grandmothers said, and as they spoke, something moved--like a flower unfolding.  As the sides, or petals folded back, I saw that the center was full of light and at the same time, had great depth. Like a funnel, the center curved deeper and deeper into the light, so deep I couldn't see to the bottom of it.

"This is where we are leading you," the Grandmothers said, "where you are going now. Deeper into the light." They paused then and in the background I heard a voice singing. "World without end," it sang,  "Amen, Amen."

"Yes!" The Grandmothers said. "There's no end to this light, no end to this beauty."  And, locking their eyes on mine, they said,  "There's no end to the beauty that you are.  Who you are is expanding now and it's going to continue to expand-- far beyond your wildest dreams."

I looked up at them, shocked by their words but they said,  "Don't worry. This will happen gradually.  It won't overwhelm you.  You'll LIKE it," they promised.  "Your capacity for feeling good, for doing good, for being good will grow and grow.  And the store of goodness inside you will give you tremendous joy, ever-increasing joy."

I started to laugh then. "I'm feeling a bit of it, Grandmothers!" I said, "and this is NOTHING I could have imagined," I shook my head.  "This is...is.... (words would not come).  "I'm accustomed to just going along, Grandmothers," I finally explained, "to sort of slogging through life," I said.  "And life ... well life has been so difficult lately.  So many people are suffering now, so much anger and fear.  Everything is so unstable and no one seems to know what to do about any of it."  I looked at them then, again at a loss for words.

"We know!" they laughed.  "We know!  And though it's true... all of that is ending now.  It's coming to an end. Not much longer for you to wait,"they said.  "Soon everything will start freeing up.  You" they emphasized, "are already to starting to open, and more opening will follow."

"Hold that unfurling flower that we showed you in your mind.  Remember the depth of the light at its center.  This is where you are going," they confirmed.  "Deeper, wider, bigger, MORE light!"  they declared, and again burst into laughter. "Okay, Grandmothers, okay," I said.  "I'm beginning to feel it, and this is where I want to go.  Lead on, please, Grandmothers. Lead on."

Message from the Great Council of the Grandmothers, 8-30-17. All of us at Net of Light took heart from this message. We hope you will too.
